Day 6: March 8, 2025
Today we left Monteverde. We drove throught the Tilarán Volcanic Range to the lowlands. We stopped in Cañas, Guanacaste. We had Leche Dormida, a local smoothie with a secret recipe. Then we got to the Bebedero River. We had a good lunch by the River and then we boarded a boat to explore the River. We saw lots of wildlife: many crocodiles, iguanas, basiliscus. Herons, egrets, one limpkin and other birds. We also saw several monkey troops, for both White-faced Capuchin Monkey and Howler Monkey species. After the tour we headed to Sámara. We stopped on a Gas Station on the way to get some snacks. We passed Nicoya and crossed the mountains to the coast. WE arrived to our hotel, we checked in and got some free time before diner in downtown.
