D-Day Netherlands and France

Bonjour mes amis Canadiens! Almost the whole day was dedicated to D-day beaches. It is such an important even in world history that we couldn't have missed any of those sites. We started by the Juno beach, the one where 14 000 Canadian soldiers landed. We visited the Juno Beach Center which is located directly behind the beach. We could also go walk on the sand and admire the calm atlantic waves. For lunch, we went to a very cute little french town called Bayeux. In the afternoon we visited the Omaha beach. Many of us had seen the movie "Saving Private Ryan" which takes place on that beach. Cris
