Day 3: April 22, 2024
This morning we headed to a farm of bulls just outside of Madrid. We had a FANTASTIC time and a great expletive. We met Julian and Angel who is former bull fighter and they explained to us the fascinating world of bull fighting. We even got to run after the bull in the arena those who wanted to live the experience, of of course always in the save hands of the experience bull fighters. We then had lunch in the great location of this farm enjoying nature and great views before we head back to the city centre to go to the Reina Sofia museum where we could admire the most famous piece of art by Picasso, The GERNIKA. After the museum we had some time to do some souvenir shopping before going to a local restaurant in the centre for dinner. After dinner we enjoyed a flamenco show which is the most typical Spanish dance and we even got to go on stage and learn some moves. It has been a great day full of excitement and new experiences and now is time to recharge our batteries and to get ready for another great day that is waiting for us tomorrow.
