Day 5: April 21, 2025
A super day! We had a more relaxed start this morning, and after a refreshing breakfast, we said goodbye to our hotel and set out for a new adventure: Pompeii and Naples!
Our first stop was Pompeii. After a short cameo-making demonstration, we met our guide Nando, who took us on a fascinating tour of the archaeological site. We were amazed by the preserved Roman streets, houses, graffiti, and decorations—truly moving!
After lunch, we continued on to Naples. There, we headed to the city center, visiting Piazza del Gesù Nuovo and the famous Via Toledo. Since it was Pasquetta, the streets were absolutely packed! It was quite the adventure walking through the bustling crowds and lively shops :)
After a refreshing break at a café to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat, we made our way to the port, where we checked in and boarded our floating hotel for the night: the ferry to Palermo!
After exploring the ship and enjoying dinner on board, we settled in and relaxed, ready to sail into the next chapter of our adventure.
Next destination: Sicily!!!
