Day 2: June 23, 2017
Bonjour!
After long flights, my new group finally arrived in Paris and I got to meet them.
We left our luggage at the hotel and had a quick lunch and took the metro to go to the most famous museum in the world - the Louvre. It is impossible to see everything in just one visit but for sure everyone got to see the Mona Lisa - Joconde, as we call her in France.
Then we walked to the Cité Island, the island where Paris started over 2000 years ago. On the island the most amazing building is the Notre Dame Cathedral. We had the chance to visit it during a mass.
It was a long day and by now everyone is probably asleep.
