We got up early today and drove to the southern port of Tarifa in the province of Cadiz, after getting there we got our ferry boat to cross the strait of Gibraltar. We arrived in Tangiers, Morocco, Africa and we were very excited. After going through the Police formalities we met our local guided and went to visit Tangiers. We stopped to see the lovely square named Mohamed V, we then walked inside its medina, old town, for a while, stopped to change money. We then drove through the modern city and into the area where wealthy people live, seeing beautiful residences there, till we reached the sea side. We stopped for lunch in a very beautiful spot named Cap Startel. After our very nice lunch, we started our drive to Fes, which was rather long but enjoyed the scenery along the way as it was so pretty. We went through different villages seeing a bit of the local life and we also saw the countryside so beautiful and green. We arrived in our hotel in Fes, got our rooms and settled down and then enjoyed a nice dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. After that, some of us went for a short walk around the hotel.
