Day 4: March 24, 2024
Last day in Madrid!
One group visited El Escorial and Segovia, majestic castles and landscapes, with a Roman aqueduct from 200bc, and a walk by the river. While the other group took free time in town. We met again at Opera for a fast forward class of flamenco palmas, then headed to a real show of flamenco, olé! We found out that there were great dancers among us, the room was on fire! Lots of people in the streets, we had to find out way back home, crossing a sea of locals waiting for the parade of the Semana Santa. We arrived at the hotel safely and nicely, ready to go to bed and rest, because tomorrow is a long ride to Barcelona. Buenas noches!
