Day 2: March 22, 2024
Mark’s group from Pensylvania arrived this morning, we are now a complete group. We kept on the rhythm of traveling by heading straight to downtown where we played a scavenger hunt and learnt about the significance of the public places in Spain : a living room at large scale. Then we had a walking tour in the small streets, had lunch at plaza major and headed to the Reina Sofia museum. Breathtaking art that kept us on our feet for two hours. Then a metro ride to the temple debod, an old Egyptian temple from 200BC at sunset time. Diner to El Labriego with albóndigas (local meat balls) and time to go back to the hotel.
