Day 6: June 6, 2019
We left the hotel at 3am in order to travel the 2 hours to meet our police escort to the American Cemetery in Normandy. The ceremony was due to start at 1115 but we were in our seats before 8 am!! It was a sunny day thank goodness! Presidents Trump and Macron made their speeches and there were several fly pasts. It was a huge event with over 10000 attending so we had a long wait to get away in the afternoon. Lots of photos to look at today! Enjoy!!
