Central European History

Well it was another long day, the last 350 miles of the tour, seven hours on the bus, but the result was well worth it: Prague. A city which two Holy Roman Emperors claimed as their personal capital, and still such a splendidly preserved labyrinth of the ages. Literally every building is awash in detail documenting the past, as well as a purely astonishing degree of beauty. City of filmmakers, city of artists, hometown of writers and home to a couple hundred known ghosts, the mystique of the streets here is nearly indescribable. How fortunate that Prague was never bombed during the Wars, how fortunate we have an entire extra day tomorrow, simply to be spent soaking up the magic of the place. For tonight, we've already had a tempting taster!
