Spanish Studies in Spain

June 16, 2016  -  June 29, 2016

Today we said good bye to some students and two teachers from Upper Arlington high school who returned home. The rest of us, from both, UA and Olentangy Liberty high school continued on an extension to Barcelona. We left Madrid and drove along parts of Castilla la Mancha and Castilla Leon until we reached Aragon and its capital Zaragoza. We had some free time for lunch and visiting the basilica dedicated to our Lady of el Pilar, patroness saint of Spain. After that, we continued until we entered the territory of Catalonia and reached its capital city, Barcelona. After the check in formalities, we headed to the area of the Olympic village where we enjoyed a very nice dinner too. After that, we returned to the hotel for a well deserved rest.
