Day 3: June 20, 2025
Today the group explored the sites around London's River Thames. In the morning, we had a tour of William Shakespeare's Globe Theater. We learned the history of theater in London and enjoyed a fun workshop on Romeo & Juliet. For lunch, the group tasted English classics and cuisine from around the world at London's famous Borough Market. In the afternoon, we went on the iconic London Eye and saw the best views of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. We then took a river cruise to London's Tower Bridge and saw the Tower of London, which is home to the Crown Jewels of England. Tonight's dinner featured another English classic, sausages and mashed potatoes, commonly know as Bangers & Mash, followed by delicious chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Yummy!
