Day 6: June 7, 2025
A very busy day - so much so that I almost took no photos (actually just one of the official day!
We began our day with a visit to Anne Hathaway's cottage, Anne being the wife of the Bard himself. We learned that Anne had been 26 when they married, Will only 18 but the clincher was that she was 3 months pregnant!
Anne's family had already lived in this house for a few generations but by the time they moved out in 1911 it had been 13!
Shakespeare's Birthplace was another incredibly ancient marvel just so much history...until we went to the even older Warwick Castle. Not just a castle and not really a theme park but somewhere in between - we even saw real-life jousting!
