Day 8: April 18, 2025
A day to visit Sintra and the Sintra National Palace from the inside. We saw how the Portuguese monarchy lived and the Manueline and Muslim style architecture. We saw lots of tiles and fresco paintings. You also had the chance to taste the local pastel and walk around the town. Then we went to the Roca Cape for a great view, and finally to Cascais, where we had time to walk around the town, see the beach and the fort and try the famous Santini ice cream.
We ended the tour on a high note with a full day of sightseeing, a good dinner and finally a fado show.
