Day 3: February 17, 2025
Today was a busy and exciting day exploring Madrid! We started with a panoramic bus tour alongside a knowledgeable local guide, who shared fascinating stories about the city. Along the way, we saw some of Madrid’s most famous landmarks, including the Puerta de Alcalá, the Cibeles Fountain, Plaza de Colón, Gran Vía, and Plaza de España.
One of the highlights was our visit to the Royal Collections Gallery near the Royal Palace. The museum showcased impressive artworks and treasures from Spain’s royal history—a real glimpse into the country’s rich past.
After returning to the bus and bidding farewell to our local guide, we had some free time for lunch before heading to the Reina Sofía Museum. Exploring on our own, we admired incredible modern and contemporary art, including Picasso’s iconic Guernica.
Later in the day, there was time to shop for souvenirs, where everyone picked up special mementos to remember Madrid. We wrapped up the day with dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a captivating flamenco show—an unforgettable performance full of passion and energy.
