Day 10: June 30, 2025

All things come to an end, :( But hey, we have spent amazing days together. We visited so many interesting places, ate lovely food, learnt a lot about France and Spain. For me, this trip should be about discovery (of places, cultures, peoples), but also self-discovery (opening up your mind, learning what you like and what you don't, experiencing things first hand, learning by doing things, etc.). If the students go back home thinking that the world is now a more interesting place than it was before the trip, and they show curiosity to keep on learning, exposing themselves to different cultures and experiences, then I will feel that the whole trip was worth it. On the way to the airport, we had the opportunity to sing Cumpleaños Feliz (Happy Birthday) to Caroline. What a nice day to have your birthday on! She will surely celebrate it both during the trip and upon arrival, with all her family and friends. Safe trip back home, have a great summer and... who knows, see you down the road!
