Day 2: March 20, 2025
Yay! Finally the day has arrived, so excited to meet you all! Today after we met at arrivals, we took the bus to our hotel where we had some time to freshen up and to have breakfast. Certainly the full english breakfast it's a thing here :) Then on our way to the station we stopped at a local supermarket to get some snacks for the day before we made it to central London. What an experience to get on the tube! After that we had a wonderful walk from Tottenham Court Road to Leicester Square, Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. The heart of London under the sun looked wonderful! We then had lunch and after we went to the National Gallery. Finally we walked to Covent garden to appreciate the beautiful market, the wonderful Royal Opera house and all the street performers before we headed to dinner. We had the most typical British dinner Fish and Chips!! We then took the tube back to the hotel. Although we could all feel tired due to the travelling day, we managed to make the most of our first day of tour. Well done!! We are ready to rest now. Bring on tomorrow :)
