Today, bright and early, we boarded a high‑speed AVE train at Madrid’s Atocha station, bound for Córdoba. With speeds reaching up to 300 km/h, the journey was just two hours. Upon arrival, we set foot in Córdoba’s charming old town, the Jewish Quarter (La Judería), with whitewashed walls and flower-filled patios greeted us with postcard-perfect scenes. Next came the Mezquita–Cathedral, Córdoba’s iconic landmark, an architectural fusion of Islamic and Christian styles. With our cultural itinerary completed, we enjoyed a relaxed lunch, wandered through the streets lined with artisan shops while picking up souvenirs. Our next leg involved a private bus ride to Seville, arriving in time for a few hours by the hotel pool. As night approached, we gathered at the hotel’s restaurant for dinner.
