Day 12: June 9, 2024
We hit the streets of Salamanca early since it was Sunday and our tour started at 9:30. The guide told us about the secrets hidden in the Plaza Mayor. We had the opportunity to visit the Pontifical University of Salamanca, the House of Shells, the Public University of Salamanca, and the Cathedrals, which are connected to each other.
Once the tour with our guide Carmen ended, we continued the tour to the Roman Bridge, the Calixto and Melibea garden from the play "La Celestina," and the bull statue from "Lazarillo de Tormes."
Afterwards, we had the afternoon free to enjoy Salamanca and to rest.
