This place was create to combined the architectural and cultural essence of Spain so as to impress visitors to the 1929 Barcelona Universal Exposition. Our Alaska group enjoyed the Teleferico in Montjuic, they were delited with the views. And our Missouri group arrived this morning, they had some time to refresh and after that we headed to the city centre to meet our guides, Francesc and Josep. The first thing that we did was a tour of the enchanting Park Güell, where our guide shared with us many fascinating insights into the history and culture of Barcelona. The park's designs and stunning views left us in awe, giving us a glimpse into the creative genius of Antoni Gaudí. Following our visit to Park Güell, we were privileged to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Sagrada Familia. This architectural marvel captivated us with its intricate details and towering spires. Afterward, we went to have dinner in a traditional catalan restaurant. We tried 'canelones catalanes' y 'butifarra'. We are looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow! Overall, it has been an enriching and enjoyable day filled with unforgettable experiences.
