Day 4: April 3, 2024
Our morning began with a visit to a bull farm, where we learned about the meticulous pairings of bulls and cows from the farm owner.
With fascinating insights into the breeding process, we observed the majestic animals in their natural habitat, appreciating their strength and beauty.
Next, we were treated to a thrilling capea performance by a professional bullfighter, guided by the farm owner in the arena.
Mesmerized by the graceful movements of both the bullfighter and the bull, we were captivated by the artistry and bravery on display.
Concluding our morning excursion, we enjoyed a simple yet satisfying sandwich and soda on the farm, relishing in the camaraderie and excitement of the day. As we bid farewell to the farm, we departed back to Madrid with a newfound appreciation for the world of bullfighting and the dedication of those who preserve its traditions.
Once back in Madrid we visited the Reina Sofia Museum, immersed in the world of contemporary art. Following our museum visit, we enjoyed a satisfying dinner at a local restaurant, concluding the night feeling inspired by Madrid’s vibrant cultural scene.
Tomorrow we say goodbye to Madrid to continue our adventures in Barcelona!
