Early start to catch the 8 am Eurostar high speed train to Paris, passing through the Chunnel.
Quick bag drop in our hotel rooms, then métro into the centre of Paris to visit the Louvre and do some shopping.
An evening stroll along the Seine, with Notre Dame across the river, then a dinner in the lively Latin Quarter.
