Our last morning in France was also our most leisurely! After several wake-ups between 5 and 6am, we were able to have a lie-in, so long as we had breakfast and were ready to board our coach to the airport at 10am! (Although the clocks had ‘sprung forward’ an hour the previous night, but the lie-in was welcome!
After one last yummy intake of croissants and other continental fare, we loaded up the coach and made our way to Charles de Gaulle airport.
There’s an interesting configuration at Terminal 2, and we made our way from the coach drop-off point to the check-in area where most of us were able to check ourselves in, and make our way through to security, and our departure gate. Only a lay-over in Montreal stood between us saying goodbye to France, and arriving back in Edmonton… to get ready for school!
