Today We are saying « au revoir » to the Capital City of France Paris to travel South to the Capital of Provence Avignon
À 3 hours train ride on the TGV (high speed train) cruising through the back country at the speed of 350/400 km/h!!! 🚆
Free Time for lunch in Avignon to discover the forme Captial of Popes during the 14th century (9 popes through the years)
Its gorgeous palace, church, Park, Clock Square and World famous Pont D’Avignon - the bridge of the famous French song
A boat ride to see it and the entire city from a different angle from the opposite river bank
Croque Monsieur for dinner (toasted Ham and cheese sandwich) and off to our new house for the next 2 nights
