Day 7: July 3, 2022
Today we visited and had a guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau. In terms of a historical tour to Central Europe, there likely are few memorials that can even be placed in the same category. Visitation to this site is essential, a moment to reflect on the past and carry forward the lessons which we must learn from history. This is our last day in Poland and it ended with a great traditional dinner. Polish food is delicious and very hearty. We never knew there were so many kinds of Perogies!
