Day 6: June 25, 2019
Today we had a really long drive from Monteverde to Playa Carrillo. En route we made several stops to see different things. We made a stop at Mi Finca in Abangares to see the macaws. After that we went to Bebedero Town to navigate the Bebedero River and visit Palo Verde National Park. This National Park is an important wetland in the province of Guanacaste. We had the opportunity to see big Crocodiles as well as small ones. We saw monkeys bats and water birds. We had lunch after our tour and it was a nice chance to explore one of the most important rivers in Guanacaste.
After lunch we drove to Guardia de Liberia at El Jardín where the group had shopping time.
We drove to Nicoya after our shopping stop and visited the church of Nicoya which was Costa Rica’s oldest church.
We ended our drive when we got to Hotel Hacienda Del Mar in Playa Carrillo. There we had our check in and the rest of the afternoon at leisure. We had dinner there and played games in property.
