Day 8: June 10, 2019
This morning I am sure everyone was happy to be able to sleep for a bit longer than previous days!
We had breakfast at 9:15 and at 10:30 we met our Munich local guide at the BMW world where we saw the show room. Really impressive!
We were back on the coach and while we drove around the city Anita explained very important facts of Munich.
We drove past the Olimpia stadium from 1972 too.
From there we headed to the old part of the city while Anita explained the history of Munich from the 8th century.
We stopped by the Nymphenburg palace where we had a little bit of free time to take a few pictures. There’s still one prince who lives in the palace that surprisingly survived the concentration camp of Dachau that we visited yesterday.
During the tour we drove past Frauenkirche, Deutsches museum, Alte Pinakothek, Neues Rathaus, Hofbräuhaus just to name a few important places.
We also learned that the opera house burned twice.
When we finish the panoramic tour we all enjoyed some free time until the afternoon when we all met by Marienplatz and we walked together to meet Goran, he drove us to the restaurant where we had our typical German dinner. Bratwurst!!!
