Blazing sunshine again today for our tour of Belfast!! Weather really couldn’t be better! We met Dee our guide in the Titanic Quarter and from there took in the sights of Belfast with buildings dating back to its heyday as the linen capital of the world! We also learnt about Dees experiences growing up during the Troubles. Fascinating to hear her stories first hand. We through the areas that previously had seen a lot of the fighting… the murals displaying both sides of the story. We finished at City Hall and had free time for lunch and some exploring before it was time to head off south to Dublin. In Dublin Emma gave us an orientation walk through Temple Bar, along the Liffey to O Connell St and down to the GPO and millennium spire before releasing us for free time before dinner. Dinner was in the Boars Head pub, traditional Irish stew. Finally we headed out to our last hotel of the tour.
