Day 6: March 22, 2025
Today was a scenic but long drive from the east of Scotland to the west. We drove through beautiful glens, passed many lochs and learnt about the history of the massacre at Glencoe back in 1692.
On our way to lunch at the Green Welly, we did a trivia quiz, with prizes, to see how much information has been picked up along the way. Some pleasantly high scores secured the best prizes!!
After lunch it was onwards south to the cute village of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond where we stretched our legs and stocked up on snacks.
We had a mini guided walk from Emma when we arrived in Glasgow followed by some free time for last minute Scottish souvenir buying!
Dinner was in our hotel tonight, a lovely 3 course meal of chicken goujons, fish and chips and toffee cheesecake. An early night tonight as we have a ferry to catch in the morning.
