Québec: Carnaval

What a day! We started the morning bright and eager with a tasty breakfast. Before getting free time for lunch, we visited Musee de Fort where we watched an interactive film covering the history of Quebec warfare. Of the several battles we learned about at Musee de Fort, the most memorable was the Battle of the Plains of Abraham. With our morning hunger satisfied, we drove over to Valcartier Park. We had an awesome time down the slopes on tubes! We had just enough time to go on one of the larger slopes. We then took a guided tour through the famous Hotel du Glace. That place is so cool! (pun intended) After dinner, we explored lower town and got to learn about Place Royale, stand on the same grounds that the settlements of Champlain's time once stood, and counted the steps of the Breakneck stairs. À demain!
