Day 8: June 30, 2024
Today we drove down to our final destination of the tour, Rome! We stopped halfway at a shop that sells local products such as olive oil, pasta, sauces and souvenirs, and then arrived around midday in the Eternal City. The afternoon was dedicated to learning about the Roman Empire, as after lunch we started our guided tour of Imperial Rome, visiting both the Colosseum and Roman Forum. After the tour, we went to visit a couple of the main sights of the city - the Trevi fountain where we threw coins in, and the Spanish steps - on our way to dinner.
