Day 2: June 24, 2024
Today was arrivals day! The first group got in very early to the airport and we headed to the hotel to leave the luggage. After that we went to a cafe nearby to have fresh pastries (pain au chocolat and croissants) and a coffee, before getting the RER train and metro into the centre of Paris. After some lunch and free time, we did a walking tour around Ile de la Cité and Notre Dame cathedral, after which the rest of the group joined us. Then we took the metro to the Louvre museum where everyone saw some of the highlights including of course the Mona Lisa! After that we headed to the Latin quarter for dinner then back to the hotel for an early night.
