Buenos dias El Escorial and Segovia!
We drove this morning to pick up Cristina (the fabulous guide from the day before) and drove an hour to the monastery town in the mountains — San Lorenzo de El Escorial. After a guided tour inside and a walk around this beautiful city, we drove another hour to Segovia. We explored the little streets and cafes surrounding their Plaza Mayor during free time for lunch. We then had a guided visit to the castle (which has been rumoured to be the inspiration behind Cinderella's Castle in Walt Disney World) 🏰
We then drove back to Madrid for a farewell dinner at La Excentrica. Hasta pronto, Costa del Sol! ☀️ 🌴
