Bom dia! After a good night sleep we are almost recovered from the long flight. Today we travel up northern Portugal. On the way we stopped at Fatima sanctuary, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Catholics. We also learned about the miracle that took place here back in 1917. We had lunch and souvenirs time just before continuing to the beautiful UNESCO site town of Coimbra. We had the chance to visit the famous university! Actually the oldest in Portugal, founded back in 1290! The guide showed us the incredible Joanine library, the chapel and the old royal palace. We continued walking down town, which wasn't as easy as it seems... The cobbled stones were a bit slippery hehe. After learn about the Cathedral, the Roman foundation and the Fado music, we could enjoy a bit of free time to explore, do some shopping and taste some local sweets. Finally, we arrived to Porto, our last destination. We'll be here for 3 nights so can relax and properly unpack. Time for dinner! Portuguese food is being very generous so far ;)
