Day 9: July 1, 2025
Back to Rome! And to experience the insane roman traffic...
We then went sightseeing, seeing the giant obilisk of Ramesees II in Piazza del Populo - walking to the Spanish steps, then to the famous Trevi fountainto toss in a coin to ensure our return to Rome. Then we were let into the Pantheon to see the oldest church and it was incredibly beautiful (espcially with the ray of light that comes in through the top of the Dome)
After having more pizza slices for lunch and more gelato, we meet Roberto to go to the Vatican! Everyone has their passports out to go to the world's smallest country.
After touring the vatican and seeing the sistine chapel with it's amazing ceiling, we had free time in the city, then the most amazing pasta dinner. Then some free time to walk into churches and see some ruins before heading back and to say arrividercci Roma!
