Hola!
We departed Sevilla this morning and headed to Cordoba on our way to Madrid where our tour ends. Although the weather was quite hot today we didn't care, the heat didn't obscure the charm of Cordoba - we all thought it was a ver cute city! After some free time to explore the old quarter and having lunch, we started our tour of Cordoba walking around the many cobblestoned streets that wind through the old Jewish quarter and toured the Mosque - Cathedral, an amazing sight. Can you imagine a Catholic Cathedral constructed inside of a Moorish mosque? It's also and a reminder of the Catholic Kings reconquest of Spain from the Mooring Kings from 1200's to 1400's and a unique jewel in the entire world.
After our visit of Cordoba we boarded our bus to head to Madrid.The hot weather made us feel sleepy so we had a nice siesta on board the bus and once we woke up we were already in La Mancha, the land of El Quixote, where we saw a few windmills. We also saw a few brave bulls in the countryside and learned about bullfighting.
Dinner was in a rest area on the highway before arriving to Madrid. Now it's time to sleep after a long bus ride.
