Madrid & Barcelona

June 16, 2025  -  June 23, 2025

Today we went from Madrid to Barcelona by bus. The journey was long, but we stopped halfway to visit Zaragoza, the fourth largest city in Spain. Zaragoza was founded during Roman times and is named after Caesar Augustus. In Zaragoza, we had lunch, but above all, we admired the Basilica del Pilar, a beautiful church that houses some of Goya's frescoes. On the way back to the bus, we had time to play a quiz game prepared by Emiliano, with questions about life, history, and traditions in Spain. Upon arriving in Barcelona, we went straight to the port for dinner and from there to the hotel. Tomorrow we will explore the city in depth.
