Hi everyone! My name is Nancy Benedetti. I am your Explorica Tour Director. I know you are getting ready to travel and I thought of dropping a line to let you know that I am looking forward to welcoming you to Europe. I will be at the airport in Rome to meet and greet you when you land. And I look forward to showing you all the spectacular sights of Italy and Greece. You know very well that Italy has always been a magnet for travelers. During the Roman Empire all roads led to Rome: it was the center of government, trade and tourism. And after the 11th century more people went to Italy that any other country. Italy had become the richest, most dazzling, most cultured part of Europe. People from all over Europe flocked to see what was happening and to bask in the brilliance of Art. You will discover the Legacies of the Roman Empire.
