Day 7: April 19, 2024
Fun morning when we had a lesson in Pétanque at a club in Paris. After learning the rules and trying it out, we were divided into teams of 3 and played a serious tournament.
The afternoon was free time so again we split into different groups for culture, shopping or rest.
Dinner was once again in the Latin Quarter, where we had steak-frîtes in an old restaurant with the original stone walls.
We bought some last minute sweets and presents, then walked onto the Ile de la Cité to catch our boat. A lovely relaxing hour's cruise on the Seine, with a sparkling Eiffel Tower and the main sights lit up.
Final métro journey from the very fancy Louvre station, then back to the hotel to pack
