Day 4: April 22, 2025
After breakfast, we left Athens this morning with our driver George and we drove through part of the countryside to get to Delphi. Beautiful scenery on the way with outstanding views of Mount parnasse, second highest mountain in Greece.
Our local guide Penny was waiting for us to take us through the ancient site of Apollo's Oracle and then a visit to the adjacent Museum. We enjoyed a late lunch in local restaurant and then checked into our hotel located right in the heart of the modern town of Delphi. A leisurely afternoon followed, made of strolling through the narrow streets, shopping or relaxing. A great dinner ended this day.
