Day 3: April 21, 2025
After a good breakfast this morning, we hopped on the bus with ou driver George and picked up our guide Athanasia so we could drive around the modern Athens. Then we were dropped off by the foot of the Acropolis Hill and we made our way up to the Parthenon all learning about the ancient Greek history.
After the visit we had some time to get some lunch in the old district and then we did an orientation tour to discover the rest of the city : the neighborhood of Anafiotika, Monastiraki square and its flea market, the roman agora... Then, free time followed until our dinner down in the old town. And once again we rode the city bus to make it back to our hotel. It was a very full day with a lot of walking and everyone enjoyed an early night🙂
