Day 5: April 5, 2023
Caroline and Emma say: Today we went to the museum of natural history. After that we went to the gardens behind it and saw the roses. It was so cool!! We saw the evolution of animal life and learned about many animals like sea stars, lions, rams, and many more! The greenhouses were 5 stories and filled with plant life and ponds. After exploring, we climbed through the bushes up to a beautiful gazebo to sit and enjoy the view before we walked back to meet up with the group.
Jackson and Jonah say: We went to Les Invalide today, an army museum and home of the tomb of Napoleon. The Church that Napoleon’s tomb was in was extremely ornate, and covered in displays of Napoleon as emperor of France. The rest of the museum contained various uniforms, weapons, and documents from the 2nd World War, The French Revolution, and the Middle Ages.
