Day 2: March 22, 2024
Today we finally made it to London! Our plane was a bit delayed, but we didn't let it dampen our spirits. After dropping off our bags at the hotel, we dashed into the city to start our walking tour. A quick lunch on the go, and then we saw Soho Square, Chinatown, Leicester Square, and Trafalgar Square, where we visited the National Gallery.
We strolled along Whitehall and made it to the Parliament – what a stunning building! After a bit of queuing for photos with the iconic red phone booth and Big Ben in the background, we headed to Piccadilly Circus, what a fantastic whirlwind! We had dinner at a typical London spot and then hit the hay – we're exhausted but super excited for tomorrow!
