Day 9: March 29, 2024
!Today we departed from Switzerland to reach Italy. We encountered some traffic on the road, but we didn't lose heart! We visited Verona, where we saw the arena, an amphitheater dating back to the first century AD, and the famous balcony of Juliet, where Shakespeare's tragedy is set. Below the balcony is the statue of Juliet, and here's this strange tradition: apparently, touching her breast brings good luck 😂 We had a little stroll for some shopping and gifts, and then we headed to Venice. We had dinner at the hotel and then off to bed, we're very tired!
