Well, it probably wasn't the aliens, but interesting theory... After much discussing about the possible causes of Ludwig's death -and on the way learning how Germany was founded- we got to Neuschwanstein, on another gorgeous day. The walk up was not too hard, the walk to the bridge more so... but oh so worth it! And if it hadn't been for all the steps, we would be really fit now :-) During lunch by the lake entertainment was provided by two ducks fighting for a lady that didn't really care, and afterwards we were treated to a visit to the Wieskirche, THE rococo church in Bavaria, made by the brothers Zimmermann and on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage buildings (no wonder). And now we are in Oberammergau, some eating ice cream, some Apfelstrudel... maybe some looking for Lüftlmalereien? Another great day... but sadly the last together as a group. After a yummy Händl in the Augustiner, the oldest brewery in Bavaria, the sad moment came to say goodby... Time to get our bags ready and try to sleep, tomorrow it's going to be an early day!
