Day 6 – From Venice to Assisi
We said goodbye to Venice this morning and hit the road for a long (but scenic!) bus ride to Assisi. It was a chill day of travel — naps, music, snacks, and lots of countryside views out the window.
Once we made it to Assisi, we saw Santa Chiara and the incredible views of the surrounding hills.
Then, we walked down to the Basilica of San Francesco. You had some free time to wander, grab a snack, or just take in the peaceful energy of the town.
Later, we headed to our hotel, enjoyed a big dinner (we earned it after all that traveling!), and finally got some well-deserved rest. Ready for Rome??
