Day 3 – Firenze, che bella! This morning we had a nice, slow start to the day with a delicious breakfast—croissants, cakes, and all kinds of sweet treats to fuel us up. We headed into Florence to meet our amazing guide, Monica, for a walking tour of the city. She was fantastic—super knowledgeable and easy to follow as we explored the heart of Florence and learned more about its incredible history. After the tour, we had a quick leather demonstration (gotta love Italian craftsmanship!) followed by a little shopping. In the afternoon, everyone had free time to explore, and it was awesome to see the different choices people made: some visited the Uffizi Gallery (which was open on a Monday—so lucky!), others went to the Leonardo Interactive Museum, the Galileo Museum, or even the Boboli Gardens. So many cool activities, and of course, lots of amazing food along the way! On our way back, Joel surprised us with a quick stop at Piazzale Michelangelo—perfect timing for some beautiful panoramic photos of Florence. Thank you, Joel! We made our way back to Montevarchi, and ended the day with a huge dinner—plate after plate of delicious Tuscan dishes. So much food, so much fun. Thanks, everyone, for such a beautiful day. Can’t wait for what’s next!
