Kalimera!! First thing to do was meeting our local guide, Cristina, and begin the visit to the Epidaurus theater. She was explaining the incredible construction of this theater and all of a sudden she begin clapping, and the feeling of receiving the sound back to where we were was so impressive! Still on use, this theater does not need the use of microphones for the artists using it. Just amazing. Then we visited a local shop of clay and jewellery, where we saw the description of the ancient art of painted clay and the way the different colours used changed when the piece was in the fire. After that we visited the piramid which was once the tomb of king Agammenon, and the citadel of Mycenae, with the gate of Lions welcoming the visitors. So many centuries of history right by our side... So impressive. Finally we passed by the Corinth Canal, built to help the ships cross from the Ionian sea and the Aegean sea, which was a great spot to be, right between two seas... Now we are relaxing in our hotel in Athens, getting ready for the visit to this capital tomorrow!
