Hi everyone! Full day again!! Lots of fun! We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, and then José Manuel, our driver, took us to Toledo, a medieval town one hour ride from Madrid. We met Cristina, our local guide who was going to be our local guide in the city. Toledo is built on top of a hill and surrounded in its 70% by river Tajo, which is the longest in the Iberian peninsula. That makes a must for the visit to begin by a panoramic ride around the twin, to have a sight of the city from outside before getting into it. The views are awesome, so we took the chance to take good pictures! Then we got into the city and our first visit was a forge where we could see how a blacksmith worked the steel to make a beautiful sword. Then we walked by the Jewish quarter and visited Santa Maria la Blanca sinagogue. Toledo is also known for the famous artist El Greco, so we had the chance to visit Santo Tome church, where his most famous piece is kept. Finally, we got into the Cathedral, one of the biggest in the country. Right after lunch we rode back to Madrid, just on time to begin the visit to the Royal Palace. The group really enjoyed walking inside the rooms! Right after that, ready for dinner.... Today it was tapas dinner!! I think they loved it!!
