Rome & the South of Italy

March 24, 2016  -  March 31, 2016

Today We waved goodbye to Rome to head to one of the most charming and unique regions of Italy, Puglia, still away from the huge tourist tracks. It took us 5 hours to reach Castel del Monte, a mysterious building made in 1240 by the King Frederick II which still nowdays has puzzled many historians on his real purpose. We then continued to the area of the Trulli, some fairylike houses where locals have lived for hundreds years and where our hotel is.
